Product Overview
The inclined stem and streamlined Y-pattern body reduce turbulence and pressure loss compared with a conventional T-pattern globe valve. Guided trim and hardfaced seating are available for high-velocity steam and continuous throttling. This y-pattern globe valve is designed for steam, condensate and high-velocity process flow and can be supplied in 1/2–16 in with RF, RTJ or BW connections. Body and trim materials, seat or sealing system, operator, coating and documentation can be customized to the actual medium, pressure, temperature and project specification. Manual, gearbox, pneumatic, hydraulic or electric operation is available where technically applicable. Dimensional inspection, shell and seat pressure testing, material certificates and application-specific inspection records can be provided with the order.
