Metal-Seated Ball Valve, Up to Class 1500

A metal-seated ball valve engineered for high-temperature, abrasive and solids-containing media where conventional soft seats are unsuitable. The ball and seat surfaces can be hardfaced with tungsten carbide, chromium carbide, Stellite or other selected coatings, then precision-lapped for controlled leakage performance. Spring-loaded seats compensate for thermal movement and wear, while graphite packing and body seals support elevated temperatures. Unidirectional or bidirectional designs, floating or trunnion construction and scraping seat geometries are available for steam, slurry, catalyst, ash and mineral-processing service. Material, coating, leakage class and actuator torque are selected against the customer’s actual medium and operating conditions.
