Eccentric Hemispherical Ball Valve for Slurry Service

An eccentric hemispherical ball valve uses an offset, partially spherical closure that cams away from the seat during opening and closing. The geometry reduces sliding wear and enables dependable shutoff in abrasive slurry, mining tailings, pulp stock, wastewater solids and fibrous process media. Replaceable resilient or metal seats, hard-coated closure segments, V-port options and self-cleaning flow paths can be specified for the application. Flanged bodies, manual gear operators and automated packages are available for high-cycle process isolation and control duties.
