Jacketed Flanged Ball Valve for Viscous Media

A jacketed ball valve designed to maintain process temperature and fluidity for bitumen, resin, polymer, sulfur, chocolate, oil and other viscous or crystallizing media. The integral or welded jacket circulates steam, hot oil or cooling fluid around the valve body to reduce solidification and blockage. Full-port and cavity-filled configurations are available, together with soft, reinforced or metal seat systems selected for temperature and medium. Oversize flanges can accommodate jacket connections while maintaining the required pipeline bore. Manual gearbox, pneumatic actuator or electric actuator packages, jacket nozzle orientation, heating medium pressure and insulation provisions can be customized for the plant layout.
