Cryogenic Extended-Stem Ball Valve for LNG Service

A cryogenic ball valve with an extended bonnet and stem to protect packing from extremely low process temperatures in LNG, liquid nitrogen, oxygen and other liquefied-gas systems. The extension maintains a vapor space between the cold media and the stem seal, while a cavity-relief feature helps prevent pressure buildup from trapped liquid expansion. Stainless steel body and trim, degreased oxygen-service preparation, low-temperature seats and fire-safe sealing options are available. Floating and trunnion designs, multiple end connections and manual or automated operation can be supplied. Each configuration can be matched to the required minimum design temperature, pressure class and cryogenic test procedure.
