Hydraulic Large-Diameter Butterfly Valve with Counterweight

A hydraulic cylinder and optional counterweight provide controlled opening and staged closing for pump-discharge and hydropower systems. Adjustable closing curves help reduce water hammer, while large bearings and rigid flanged construction handle demanding pipeline loads. This hydraulic butterfly valve is designed for hydropower, pump discharge and surge protection and can be supplied in DN300–DN3000 with Double Flanged connections. Body and trim materials, seat or sealing system, operator, coating and documentation can be customized to the actual medium, pressure, temperature and project specification. Manual, gearbox, pneumatic, hydraulic or electric operation is available where technically applicable. Dimensional inspection, shell and seat pressure testing, material certificates and application-specific inspection records can be provided with the order.
